Whose WhatsApp number is it — mine or yours?+
Yours. You connect your own WhatsApp Business number through Meta's own window, exactly as you connect Instagram, and it stays yours. We never send from a shared number, and your customers see your business name, not ours.
Does WhatsApp charge me per message?+
Not for what Speedy Text does. WhatsApp lets you reply free, and without limit, to anyone who wrote to you first — that is every reply the automation sends. Charges begin only when a business starts a conversation out of the blue, which Speedy Text never does.
Can I keep using WhatsApp on my phone with that number?+
No, and this catches people out. A number can be on the WhatsApp app or on the business API, never both. Use a number you are happy to move across — a business line, or a fresh SIM. Moving it means losing the chats already on that number, so do not use your personal one.
