One link for your TikTok and Instagram bio, with a button that opens each of your chats.
Step 1
Open “Link in bio”
It's in the menu on the left, under Sales, for owners and managers. An address is already suggested from your account's name. The editor has four tabs — Content, Products, Look and Stats — with the Preview beside them.
Step 2
Set the address and the words
On the “Content” tab, under “Your page”, choose the Address — speedytext.app/l/ and then 3 to 30 small letters, numbers, dots, dashes or underscores. Then the “Name at the top”, “A line about you”, and the “Page language”: English, Arabic, Spanish or French.
Step 3
Add your social icons
Under “Social icons”, paste your profile's address on each platform you want: TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, X, Snapchat, LinkedIn or Threads. Each one must be a profile on that platform's own site, or its box turns red. They show as a row of icons under your name; leave a box empty to leave its icon out.
Step 4
Choose the chat buttons and the keyword
Under “Chat buttons”, switch on the connected accounts you want on the page: WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, your Telegram bot or email. In “Keyword”, type a word one of your rules answers. WhatsApp and email get it typed in for the visitor, and your Telegram bot receives it (English letters and numbers only there). Instagram and Messenger open the chat empty, so the visitor writes first.
Step 5
Add “Book a time” and your links
With Google Calendar connected in Settings, switch on “Book a time”: it opens your WhatsApp, or your Telegram bot, with a booking request typed. Under “Links”, press “Add a link” for your shop, a menu or a video — up to ten, or up to 100 on Pro and above, in the order you set with the arrows. The small square at the start of each link is “Add a picture”: press it to put a picture beside the link's name.
Step 6
Give a link dates (Pro and above)
Press the clock beside a link (“Schedule”) and fill in “Show from”, “Until”, or both. The link shows on the page only between them — for a sale, a launch, an event. The times are on your own clock, and the editor names your time zone under them. “Always show” takes the dates off.
Step 7
Show your latest TikTok video (Pro and above)
With your TikTok account connected in Accounts, switch on “Latest TikTok video”. Your newest video shows on the page as a cover people tap to watch it on TikTok, and it changes by itself when you post — checked every few hours. With more than one TikTok account, choose which under “Account”.
Step 8
Collect emails (Pro and above)
Switch on “Email sign-up” and, if you like, write your own “Heading” over the form. People who sign up join your email list in Campaigns, tagged “bio”; with a sending address set up, each one confirms from their inbox first. “See your email list” takes you there.
Step 9
Put your products on the page
Open the “Products” tab. Under “Add from your store”, search your products and press + beside the ones you want — up to 12, from the products on your Store page and your connected Shopify, EasyOrders or Vondera store. Set their order with the arrows under “Products on your page”. Each tile's Order button opens WhatsApp (or else your Telegram bot, or else email) with the order typed, and your store assistant takes it from there.
Step 10
Publish and save
Switch on “Published” and press “Save”. The Preview beside your settings is exactly the page your visitors get.
Step 11
Paste it into your bios
On the “Stats” tab, under “A link for each bio”, press TikTok to copy the TikTok version. In TikTok: Profile → Edit profile → Website, paste it and save — if there's no Website field, TikTok hasn't given that account a clickable link yet; a business account usually has one. Then press Instagram here, and in Instagram: Edit profile → Links → Add external link, paste it and press Done.
Step 12
Print the QR code
Once the page is published, press “QR code” at the top, beside “Copy link”, and download it as PNG or SVG — for a card, a flyer or your shop window. Visits from it show as “QR code” in “The last 30 days”.
Worth knowing
- Every version opens the same page. The ending (?from=tiktok, ?from=instagram…) is how “The last 30 days” shows which platform each visitor came from, and which button they tapped.
- On Free and Essential the page wears the Speedy Text look, with “Made with Speedy Text” at the bottom. On Pro and above, the “Look” tab opens: theme, accent colour, background and your own logo — and the badge goes.
- Prices on the page are read from your store, so a change there shows on the page, and a product that sells out is hidden. With no WhatsApp, Telegram bot or email on the page, a product shows a View button to its own page instead, and one without a page is hidden.
- Changing the address breaks the link that's already in your bios. Paste the new one there after saving.
