US orders from the chat, paid by your own link, shipped on your Shippo account with USPS, UPS, FedEx or DHL.
Step 1
Connect Shippo
On the Store page, open Shippo and press “Connect”. Sign in to your Shippo account (or create one, free) and you're back on the page, connected. Only the workspace's owner can connect it.
Step 2
Your ship-from address and the service
Fill in where parcels leave from — with the state and ZIP code. Choose “The cheapest” or “The fastest” service, tick “Ship orders with this courier”, and if you like “Ship automatically when an order is confirmed (or paid)”. Save.
Step 3
Deliver to the US, paid by your link
In the store's shipping prices, add the United States with its delivery price, and paste your payment link (Stripe, PayPal, Square…). Write {amount} in it to fill in the order's total. There's no cash on delivery in the US, so these customers pay before you ship.
Step 4
How a US order goes
The chat asks for the city, state and ZIP code, and Shippo checks the address before the customer confirms. The customer gets your payment link with the total, and the order waits as “Waiting for payment”. When the money arrives, press “Mark as paid”: the label is bought and the customer gets the tracking number.
Worth knowing
- Labels are bought from your own Shippo account at Shippo's rates; Speedy Text never charges for them.
- Test mode: paste your shippo_test_ token (Shippo → Settings → API). Test labels are free and never mailed.
- Where the parcel is updates by itself on the order, from Shippo.
