Disconnect one account or all of them, close your account, and what is deleted on its own.
Step 1
Disconnect one account
Open it from Accounts, then in the ⋯ menu press “Disconnect this account” and confirm with “Disconnect”. Its access to your Page, profile or number is deleted at once and it stops answering. Its rules and settings are kept; if you connect it again it starts fresh — its old activity, conversations and contacts are cleared then.
Step 2
Disconnect everything at once
Settings → “Account & security” → “Danger zone”: press “Disconnect all”, then “Yes, disconnect them”. Every page, profile and number is disconnected; you stay signed in and your rules are kept.
Step 3
Delete your whole account
Write to support@speedytext.app and ask for your account to be deleted. That removes your connected accounts, rules, contacts and history. If you pay automatically, turn off “Automatic renewal” on Billing first. Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Step 4
Removed us on Facebook?
If you remove Speedy Text in Facebook under Settings & Privacy → Settings → Business Integrations, Meta tells us and we delete the comments and messages we hold from that Facebook account. Meta gives you a confirmation code, and speedytext.app/data-deletion shows that it was done.
Step 5
For your customers
Someone who wrote to your business can ask for their data to go: an email to support@speedytext.app with the subject “Data Deletion Request” and their Instagram or Facebook username. It's deleted within 30 days and confirmed by reply.
Worth knowing
- Comments and messages delete themselves after 90 days, and a contact's record 90 days after they were last in touch.
- Orders, and the answers people gave to your questions, are your business records: they aren't deleted on a timer, and they go when your account does.
