Whose WhatsApp number is it — mine or yours?
Yours. You connect your own WhatsApp Business number through Meta's own window, exactly as you connect Instagram, and it stays yours. We never send from a shared number, and your customers see your business name, not ours.
Does WhatsApp charge me per message?
Not for the replies. WhatsApp lets you answer free, and without limit, anyone who wrote to you first — and answering is what the automation does. The one paid message is optional: if you switch on shipping updates, a “your order has shipped” notice sent after the 24-hour window goes out as a WhatsApp utility message, which Meta bills to your own WhatsApp account at its utility rate.
Can I keep using WhatsApp on my phone with that number?
Yes, if it is a WhatsApp Business app number. Connect it as it is, keep answering from your phone whenever you like, and whatever you type there shows up in your inbox here too. The ordinary WhatsApp app cannot be connected — switch the number to WhatsApp Business first. A fresh number that has never been on WhatsApp works as well, and is then answered only from here.
Which plan includes WhatsApp?
Pro and above, together with the greeting, the fallback and handover to a person. Instagram and Facebook automation works on every plan, including Free.
